After an epic 2023 season that crowned no less than 8 world champions in Freefly-Slalom, Surf-Freestyle and the new disciplines of Waves and Big Air, the GWA Wingfoil World Tour is back in 2024 for 10 events!
The GWA Wingfoil World Tour kicks off in February with a Wave event in Cape Verde. This discipline will be played out over three events, with Rio de Janeiro Ibiraquera in Brazil and Dakhla in Morocco.
The Surf-Freestyle category will be contested for the first time this year in Leucate, France, at the Mondial du Vent. This discipline will be played out in two new destinations: Lanzarote, Spain, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Tarifa in Spain, and the islands of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura will complete the tour, before finishing as this year in Ceara, Brazil. Yes, there are 7 Surf-Freestyle stages awaiting riders in 2024!
As for Freefly-Slalom, the title will be contested at just three events: Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Ceara, Brazil.
