GWA Wingfoil World Tour: the provisional 2025 calendar is out!

Following on from the Wingfoil Racing circuit, the GWA Wingfoil World Tour has unveiled its provisional calendar for 2025 (dates and places subject to change). The big news this year is an Indoor event, by invitation only, which will take place at Boot Dussedorf next January. The programme includes three Wave stages on the same spots as last year, five Surf-Freestyle stages, including some on new spots such as Cancun in Mexico, and five Freefly-Slalom stages, including two in the Middle East, in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Note that only 3 stages will have both diciplines on the same event: Leucate, Cancun and Fuerteventura. Riders may well have to make some choices! The Youth World Championships will be held at the same spot as last year, on the Costa Brava in Spain. No Big-Air event has been announced yet, but… wait and see! Here are all the announced dates:

• 12-22 April / Freefly-Slalom, Surf-Freestyle / Leucate, France
• 19-25 April / Freefly-Slalom, Surf-Freestyle / Cancun, Mexico
• 30 June – 06 July / Freefly-Slalom, Surf-Freestyle / Youth, Costa Brava, Spain
• 28 July – 02 August / Freefly-Slalom, Surf-Freestyle / Fuerteventura, Spain
• 05-12 October / Wave / Dakhla, Morocco
• 15-18 October / Surf-Freestyle / Tarifa, Spain
• 25 October – 01 November / Wave / Ibiraquera, Brazil
• 03-06 December / Surf-Freestyle / Jericoacoara, Brazil
