Wingfoil Racing 2025 Formula and World Cups calendar is out!

17th December 2024

The IWSA Wingfoil Racing circuit has just published its 2025 calendar, and it promises to be a busy year! Five World Cups await riders all over the world, including Morocco and Dahkla for the first time, but also a new spot in China, at Daishan – which, as this year, will be the stage with the highest coefficient for the overall ranking. Four Formula events are also on the programme: the European Championships, the World Championships, the Junior and Master World Championships and the Panamerican Championships. The rules for Formula racing in 2025 are not yet known, but it is still unlikely that one-design racing will become the norm. Restrictions on the amount of equipment used and certain rules such as the requirement for windows on wings are more likely to see the light of day but… wait and see! Here are the dates below:

  1. World Cup Morocco / Dakhla, 19-23 Mar. Prize money: 15 000 eur.
  2. Formula Wing Europeans / Urla, Turkiye, 20-24 May.
  3. World Cup Switzerland / Silvaplana, 11-15 Jun. Prize money: 10 000 eur.
  4. World Cup Turkiye / Istanbul, 13-17 Aug. Prize money: 10 000 eur.
  5. World Cup China / Daishan, 3-7 Sep. Prize money: 60 000 eur.
  6. Formula Wing Worlds / Cagliari, 24-28 Sep. Prize money: 20 000 eur.
  7. Formula Wing Youth and Masters Worlds / Azores, Portugal, 22-26 Oct.
  8. Formula Wing Panamericans / Combuco, Brazil, 25-29 Nov.
  9. World Cup Brazil / Jericoacoara, 3-7 Dec. Prize money: 10 000 eur.
