Paula Novotna and Mathis Ghio, the reigning Wingfoil Racing world champions, shone once again in Abu Dhabi, winning the first stage of the 2023 tour! This stage took place from March 15 to 19 on the spot of Al Mirfa Beach, and brought together the fastest wingfoilers on the planet, ready to do battle. 7 females and 16 males riders competed over 16 rounds, in an often light wind… Wind was conspicuous by its absence on the day of the Medals Series!
