The FreeWing LIFE is the latest addition to FreeWing’s lineup, designed to make wing foiling more accessible and enjoyable for riders of all skill levels. Shape and Construction

• User-Friendly Design: The FreeWing LIFE features a compact outline with a well-distributed power zone, ensuring easy handling and control in all wind conditions. The reduced wingspan also minimizes the chances of wingtips touching the water, especially for beginners. The 12.5 degree leading edge dihedral produces significant power and delivers stability when the wing is flagged out.

• Code-Tec 95 Canopy: The LIFE wing features FreeWing’s new Code-Tec 95 canopy material, which enhances durability and maintains optimal tension over time. This high-performance fabric improves efficiency while ensuring a long-lasting structure.

• Reinforced Leading Edge Construction:  The Leading Edge has a two-stage, high-tenacity Dacron Construction. Center segments feature new HD 260 Dacron with outer sections utilising a 160g High Tenacity Dacron, ensuring a gradient load airframe for maximum stability and responsiveness.

• Stiff Center Strut Connection: The strut features a wide and strong connection at the base, creating a stiffer overall airframe resulting in stability. Pumping becomes more efficient, improving acceleration and high-end power/speed.
• Stable and Forgiving Power Delivery: Thanks to its refined leading-edge design and moderate aspect ratio, the LIFE wing generates a steady and manageable power output, making it ideal for smooth and comfortable rides.

Equipments

• Aluminium Boom with Pistol Grip: The LIFE features an aluminium boom, with an option to switch to handles. It has a 28 mm diameter thickness with a unique soft-touch oval EVA grip. At just 475 grams, it sets a benchmark in performance, control, and comfort. The boom is 109 cm long and can remain attached inside the FreeWing bag for easy transport.

• Longers Battens: Strategically placed battens provide additional structure to the canopy, reducing flutter and maintaining optimal wing shape in varying wind conditions.
• Flagging Handle for Easy Control: The LIFE wing features a flagging handle on the leading edge, allowing riders to depower effortlessly when riding waves or freeflying.

Sizes

The FreeWing LIFE is available in sizes from 2,5m² to 6m², at each 1m², allowing you to sail from 13 to 36+ knots.
