Indiana Flow FW Carbon: One Board, Endless Possibilities

Indiana Paddle & Surf Co has completely reimagined its iconic FreeWave board for 2025, and the result is the Flow FW: a wingfoil board that blends freestyle pop, wave-surfing agility, and all-conditions confidence. Designed by Gunnar Biniasch, this is a board built for riders who want to feel fast, connected, and in control, no matter what the water is serving.

Shape & Design

At first glance, the Flow FW shows its intent: straight rails tapering into a rounded nose for stability, speed, and silky carves. That streamlined nose slices through wind and chop, while the narrower tail keeps your turns snappy and drag-free.

The reworked drop deck is deeper up front for locked-in front-foot control, with the rear foot closer to the foil: perfect for driving power through turns or loading up for a jump. Beneath, a clean, flat hull flows into a pin-square tail, delivering instant planing and that addictive “pop” when the foil lifts.

Volume & Balance

Indiana has refined the volume distribution to give the Flow FW an extra touch of freestyle magic. A bit more volume behind the mast means you can shift weight to the back foot without sinking the tail: ideal for landing tricks or pivoting sharply in the pocket. Balanced proportions also make it forgiving in touch-downs and stable during light-wind starts.

On-Water Performance

The Flow FW is built for riders who don’t want to choose between styles, and also between wing and parawing! It scores high across the board:

WING

  • Freestyle – ★★★★★

  • Wave riding – ★★★★★

  • Freeride – ★★★★☆

  • Light wind – ★★★☆☆

PARAWING

  • Freestyle – ★★★★★

  • Downwind – ★★★★★

  • Wave – ★★★★☆

  • Light wind – ★★☆☆☆

From high-wind freestyle sessions to clean, fast wave faces, and also downwinding, the Flow FW responds instantly, releases early, and engages the foil without hesitation. Beveled rails make tight turns smoother and landings softer, while multiple footstrap options let you fine-tune your stance for different sessions.

Build & Materials

Strength and precision go hand in hand here:

  • Core: EPS foam

  • Deck: Carbon-PVC sandwich

  • Hull: Carbon-Fiberglass sandwich

  • Finish: Vacuum-laminated for light weight and durability

  • Pad: EVA Crocodile Groove for maximum grip and comfort

  • Foil Mount: 2 x 32cm LIO-TEC tracks for secure adjustability

Reinforced stress points mean you can push it hard, big airs, hard carves, heavy landings, without hesitation.

Size Range

Whether you’re chasing radical freestyle or looking for a SUP foil crossover, there’s a Flow FW for you:

  • 65L / 75L / 85L / 95L – compact, agile, and wave-focused

  • 105L / 120L – extra stability, easy paddling, ideal for SUP foiling

Why Ride the Flow FW?

Because it’s more than a board—it’s a platform for progression. The Flow FW has the stability to build confidence, the speed to excite, and the handling to let you push limits in freestyle, waves, downwind, or freeride. It’s that rare foil board that’s equally at home in the hands of a seasoned pro or a dedicated rider on the rise.
